Role Description
We are seeking an IT Manager to lead the organization’s technology operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and services. The successful candidate will manage IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and service delivery while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
The IT Manager will oversee IT strategy execution, system reliability, vendor management, and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage both operational support and strategic technology planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies, policies, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user devices.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems and services.
- Oversee IT service management processes including incident, problem, and change management.
- Lead IT projects such as system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, risk management, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and internal standards.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, licensing, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and governance requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members to build technical capability and performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Maintain IT documentation, policies, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Knowledge of system administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with IT monitoring, automation, and support tools.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, or Azure are an advantage.
