This position is suited to a software engineer who is comfortable working across front-end and back-end technologies and can deliver features from initial requirements through implementation and support. You will contribute to scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions for internet and intranet platforms while collaborating with colleagues to coordinate development activities and share technical knowledge. The successful candidate will bring at least three years of software engineering experience and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the broader team.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include three or more years of software engineering experience and hands-on proficiency with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, SQL or PostgreSQL, and Apache Kafka. Candidates should be able to analyze user requirements, translate them into practical system functionality, and apply appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and development practices. Experience delivering software features end-to-end, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to testing and documentation is important. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound problem-solving skills, attention to quality and security, and the ability to manage work independently while coordinating with teammates.

Preferred experience includes developing applications or services that use artificial intelligence or large language models (LLMs), as well as work involving document processing, workflow automation, or financial applications. Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native architectures is also beneficial. Candidates who can adapt to evolving project needs and explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues and users are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Analyze user and business requirements, clarify technical needs, and define system functionality. Design, build, and maintain user interface applications for internet and intranet platforms using Angular and suitable supporting technologies. Develop back-end services and application components with Java and Spring Boot, and work with SQL or PostgreSQL databases and Apache Kafka as needed. Create scalable, secure, maintainable software that meets established requirements and quality standards.

Plan and execute testing activities, identify defects, and resolve development and production issues. Coordinate requirements, schedules, and development work with team members and relevant stakeholders. Prepare technical documentation, user-support materials, and other resources that help maintain and use completed applications. Collaborate constructively, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
