Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Developer at Digolution LLC. The Software Developer will design, implement, test, and maintain back-end services and
applications, focusing on robust architectures and clean code. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management and QA. The role also involves participating in technical discussions, contributing to documentation, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes. The Software Developer is expected to stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements to tools, frameworks, and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and application in real-world projects.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with testing practices and tools (unit, integration, and automated testing).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Comfort with learning new technologies and frameworks as needed for project requirements.
