About The Role
Join our dynamic Visa Cybersecurity - Product Security Engineering team, a crucial part of Visa's Technology organization. In this role, you will play a key part in securing and innovating Visa's products and services. Our team is at the forefront of technology, delivering secure, high-quality, and user-friendly products that enable Visa and our partners to innovate rapidly and efficiently. The Cyber Products team operationalizes AI and decision intelligence to ensure ongoing business value, making this an exciting space for those passionate about payment security and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a specialist with hands-on experience in generative AI, who thrives on solving complex challenges, modernizing legacy systems, and embracing cutting-edge technologies like large language models (LLMs). Your contributions will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing next-generation data platforms aimed at driving incremental revenue and enhancing security measures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in software engineering roles. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, complemented by at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Python, and related technologies. Experience with generative AI, big data, UI technologies, and distributed, scalable systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with database technologies such as DB2, MySQL, and NoSQL data warehouses like HBase is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in leveraging LLM-based AI frameworks, working effectively on multiple concurrent projects, and thriving in Agile and Test-Driven Development environments. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Selenium, and Chef will be beneficial. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to align data engineering efforts with business needs are essential.

- Design, develop, and conduct unit testing of applications, ensuring compliance with established standards and best practices.
- Infuse AI into coding standards and practices to improve engineering productivity, leveraging advanced AI techniques to optimize development workflows.
- Manage and execute multiple high-impact projects involving large language models, balancing delivery speed with quality, and collecting relevant metrics to demonstrate productivity improvements.
- Participate in design and code review sessions, providing expert guidance and ensuring code quality.
- Provide third-level support to business users, addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth operation of applications.
- Architect and implement robust, scalable system designs that meet evolving business needs, contributing to the product roadmap.
