The product performs real audit testing and documentation, including participant-level testing, remittance-timeliness testing, rollforwards, and financial statement tie-outs, and streamlines review workflows by handling changes and notifications. Arrya helps CPA firms facing shrinking EBP audit capacity by providing scalable support without adding headcount, offshoring data, or reducing quality. The platform is security-first by design, with data minimization, encryption in transit and at rest, detailed access logging, strict data-use controls, and DPAs signed before any data transfer, with SOC 2 on the roadmap. Arrya is launching a limited pilot program for the Fall 2026 busy season, partnering closely with a small group of CPA firms to validate value in real engagements.


Role Description As a Full Stack Engineer at Arrya, you will design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power AI-driven audit workflows. You will collaborate with product, design, and audit specialists to translate complex audit requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly features. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include implementing APIs and back-end services, developing responsive front-end interfaces, integrating AI components, and optimizing performance across the stack. You will contribute to code reviews, automated testing, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of our development practices. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with a mix of on-site collaboration and the flexibility to work from home part of

the week.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience owning features from design to deployment.
  • Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible UI.
  • Hands-on Back-End Web Development experience, including RESTful APIs, databases, and secure, scalable service architectures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Commitment to security, data privacy, and high-quality engineering practices, ideally in a regulated or enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Chicago, IL, collaborating in person and remotely with a cross-functional team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience in fintech, audit, or B2B SaaS is a plus.
