About the Opportunity:
The Software Developer role focuses on enhancing financial applications that directly impact end users and members. This position is crucial in the software development lifecycle, responsible for coding, debugging, integrating with ancillary systems, and ensuring software governance and architecture standards are met.
Responsibilities:
Develop, consume, document, and integrate APIs in development, test, and production environments.
Create widgets and microservices for online banking SDK development.
Build functional databases, applications, and servers to support backend website operations.
Participate in agile development ceremonies.
Follow requirements to design and implement solutions.
Assist with documentation of code and development processes.
Develop web-based platform applications.
Utilize latest AI technologies in application development when applicable.
Stay informed on current software development and source control technologies.
Apply knowledge of security and encryption protocols.
Use standardized methods for efficient handling of development requests.
Comply with regulatory training and requirements including BSA/AML/OFAC.
Participate in monthly on-call rotations.
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with team members.
Requirements:
Knowledge of .NET architecture and object-oriented programming with C# or VB.NET.
Familiarity with XML/XSLT, SOAP, and Web Services.
Experience with web technologies such as ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Knowledge of SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS packages.
Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs).
Understanding of RESTful APIs.
Awareness of Symitar systems including PowerOn, OpCon, SymXchange, SymConnect, and ARCU.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range for this position is between $81,700 and $134,730 annually.
Eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
