Location: Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Tokyo (In-office, 5 days/week)

Salary: Up to ¥12,000,000 JPY Base + Discretionary Stock & Bonuses

Through their business division, they develop end-to-end blockchain applications, integrate automated transaction layers, and create financial products aimed at institutional and retail digital asset adoption. They maintain a lean corporate footprint while engaging directly with global capital markets.

About the Role

We are partnering with our client to find a Full-Stack Software Engineer to act as their first engineering touchpoint on the ground in Tokyo. You will join an elite, global team of roughly 5 engineers driving their initiatives in the crypto space.

This role operates on a results-based, high-autonomy model. The hiring team prioritizes product substance and architectural soundness over rigid processes. They are looking for engineers who can logically explain why a feature or technical path should be pursued, with less structural rigidity on the exact how.

What You Will Do

• Build & Scale: Develop and maintain public-facing, consumer- and enterprise-ready web applications.
• Innovate: Research and implement AI-forward development practices and features to automate system workflows.
• Collaborate: Coordinate with the core global engineering team, providing clear structural reasoning behind technical decisions.
• Take Ownership: Manage full-lifecycle features independently under a highly flexible, results-oriented execution framework.
• Expand: Support the broader technical expansion of the firm’s crypto and digital asset platforms.
