About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join a UK-based business operating within the IT and app development sector. This is a remote, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative web and data solutions for a company with a strong presence in the transportation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance the company's service offerings and client satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Lead Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team of ten professionals committed to delivering high-quality software products.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, relevant experience, and a proactive attitude. Essential qualifications include:

• Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, or in a similar IT role.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in NodeJS for backend development.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or equivalent.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like VueJS, Angular, or React.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with GIT version control system.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties aimed at delivering high-quality web and data technologies, including:

• Designing and developing innovative technology solutions that meet client requirements.
• Updating and enhancing existing software solutions to improve functionality and performance.
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand project needs and deliver optimal results.
• Participating in meetings to discuss project progress, technical challenges, and future planning.
• Working within strict deadlines and KPIs to ensure timely project delivery.
• Handling a wide array of web and data technologies, demonstrating versatility and technical proficiency.

Benefits

The company offers a competitive salary range between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
