The Opportunity

Tourifique's web platform is built and live. We're now looking for a technically excellent Full-Stack Engineer to join as a Tech Co-Founder and take ownership of the platform's architecture, scale, and next phase of growth — from stabilizing and extending a production system to shaping the roadmap for mobile, AI-driven personalization, and international expansion.

This is a rare opportunity to join a working product — not a whiteboard — with true co-founder equity and the influence that comes from owning technology decisions at the ground floor.

• Production web application serving a three-sided marketplace (creators, supply partners, travelers)
• Modern, scalable backend architecture with real-time capabilities
• Modern frontend framework, built for performance and rapid iteration
• Secure, multi-party payment infrastructure

What You'll Work On

• Scaling and hardening a live three-sided marketplace
• Short-form video discovery feed and in-app booking/checkout
• Multi-party payments infrastructure
• Creator, operator, and traveler dashboards
• AI-powered discovery, personalization, and content-matching features
• Mobile application development

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture, infrastructure, and roadmap decisions
• Extend and scale the existing platform
• Build the mobile application
• Design and maintain backend systems, APIs, and data models
• Recruit and eventually lead an engineering team
• Partner closely on product strategy and user experience
• Make key build-vs-buy and technology decisions as the company scales

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on experience with modern backend and frontend frameworks
• Background in marketplace or e-commerce platforms, you understand multi-sided dynamics, payments, and inventory/booking systems
• Experience with AI-powered features (recommendation, personalization, content matching)
• Comfortable owning infrastructure at scale: databases, caching, async task processing, real-time systems, authentication
• Startup mindset: resourceful, execution-focused, comfortable with ambiguity
• Understanding of video-first or social-first platforms is a strong plus
• Excited about travel and building a global product
