About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Safety Consultant to join our dynamic team at Countfire. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough fire
risk assessments, providing expert advice on fire safety measures, and supporting clients in achieving
compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire safety standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire safety, fire risk assessment, or related fields.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of current fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments for a variety of client premises, including commercial, industrial, and public sector buildings.
- Identify potential fire hazards and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to ensure compliance and safety.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for clients.
- Provide expert advice on fire safety legislation, policies, and best practices to clients and internal teams.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing fire safety management systems.
- Support the delivery of fire safety training sessions and workshops for clients and staff.
- Stay updated on changes in fire safety regulations and industry standards to ensure service excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
