Web3 Developer (Intern/Junior)

Openverse is shaping the future of Technology, and we're looking for passionate Fullstack Web3 Interns to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience building decentralized applications, smart contracts, and scalable web platforms. You'll work closely with our senior engineers to explore both backend and frontend development in the Web3 ecosystem.

Requirements

• ✓Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• ✓Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one frontend framework (React preferred)
• ✓Familiarity with at least one backend language (Node.js/Go/Rust is a plus)
• ✓Interest in blockchain fundamentals: smart contracts, wallets, and dApps
• ✓Eagerness to learn Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, @solana/web3.js, wallet adapters)
• ✓Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• ✓Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to explore new technologies
• ✓Ability to communicate effectively and work in a remote, collaborative environment
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing fullstack Web3 applications (frontend + backend)
• Learn to write and deploy smart contracts on popular blockchains (Ethereum, Solana, or others)
• Build responsive and interactive UIs that connect with wallets and blockchain networks
• Support integration of APIs, decentralized storage, and blockchain data indexing
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver Web3 features
• Research and document new tools, libraries, and frameworks in blockchain development
• Contribute to internal projects, hackathons, and proof-of-concept prototypes
