About The Company

Dynamic Systems, Inc. (DSI) is an established company investing in software that supports its Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) operations. From its corporate base in Buda, Texas, DSI brings together technology and operational expertise to improve how teams plan and carry out their work. The corporate Dev team partners with people across the organization to build practical, secure, and dependable software. DSI values thoughtful engineering, responsible use of modern tools, and solutions that are grounded in real operational needs.

About The Role

DSI is seeking a Software Engineer to join its corporate Dev team and support Off-Site Manufacturing. In this production-focused role, you will build and maintain web applications that help OSM teams manage scheduling, materials, capacity, and related operational processes. You will work primarily with OSM project managers, consulting lane managers and shop leaders for operational context, feedback, and validation.

You will guide work from early concepts and prototypes through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. This is a core software-engineering position with ownership of production applications—not a help-desk or departmental-automation role. The position is based at DSI’s corporate location in Buda, with limited, purposeful travel to OSM shops and other DSI facilities in Texas. Additional shop visits may be useful during onboarding.

Qualifications

We are looking for a software engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience and a track record of shipping and supporting production software. You should have strong TypeScript skills and experience building maintainable modern web applications that consume APIs and existing services. A strong working knowledge of GitHub is essential, including repositories, branching, pull requests, code review, Issues, GitHub Actions, releases, access management, and branch protections.

Qualified candidates understand the practices involved in delivering reliable applications, including user flows, authentication, accessibility, testing, deployment, and error handling. You should also bring practical experience with CI/CD, logging, metrics, evidence-based debugging, SQL, and relational data. We value engineers who can translate operational needs into clear software designs and collaborate effectively with non-technical partners. Comfort using AI-assisted development tools is important, along with the judgment to review generated work and take responsibility for what ships.

Additional experience with Python, React, Next.js, Azure, containers, infrastructure as code, AI or LLM applications, manufacturing, fabrication, industrialized construction, or production operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Partner with OSM project managers to understand challenges, define outcomes, and shape practical software solutions. Consult lane managers and shop leaders when their knowledge is needed to inform design and validate application behavior. Build and improve production web applications, primarily using TypeScript, and turn early ideas into secure, maintainable tools that users can rely on.

Use the centralized data platform and databases, APIs, and MCPs provided by the core team to support application functionality. Own the OSM application lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, documentation, user support, and issue triage. Coordinate with help desk and core platform teams when issues cross system boundaries. Administer the OSM GitHub organization and establish practical standards, guardrails, and review processes that enable domain experts to contribute safely. Collaborate with the corporate Dev team on architecture, shared components, engineering standards, and reusable solutions. Validate applications with users and improve them using feedback and evidence.

Benefits

DSI offers the opportunity to join a stable, established company with meaningful commitment to its OSM software initiatives. You will have genuine ownership of production applications, collaborate with a corporate engineering team, and see how your work supports day-to-day operations. The role is based in Buda and includes limited, purposeful access to the shops where the work happens. DSI provides competitive compensation and a full benefits package.

Equal Opportunity

Dynamic Systems, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. Candidates are considered based on their qualifications, experience, and ability to perform the role. DSI welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and provides equal employment opportunity in accordance with applicable laws.
