General Computers & Electronics (GCE) is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (JavaScript, .Net) to produce scalable software solutions. The candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.


As a Full Stack Developer, The candidate should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. The candidate should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.


Responsibilities


  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Refine, estimate, design, code, and test user stories in collaboration with the product owners and your team crew;
  • Transform UX/UI designs to web applications;
  • Adhere to coding standards, agile methodology, and processes;
  • Assist in the integration of application components to meet business requirements;


Required Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience is a must in JavaScript /TypeScript
  • 2+ years of experience is a must in React /Nextjs
  • 1+ years of experience is a must in .Net (dotnet)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with REST and integration concepts
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server or any other SQL database
  • Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on the latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
