About the Company

Steer provides software tools designed to help automotive repair shops operate more efficiently and profitably through a user-friendly, cost-effective platform. Its products help shop owners manage marketing, customer retention, and other essential business operations.

Steer began as an online directory connecting drivers with local mechanics and has since expanded into a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing platform. Its features include text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, and declined and recommended service tracking. In August 2024, Steer acquired AutoOps, a provider of integrated scheduling software that enables customers to schedule appointments through repair shops’ websites and Google Business Profiles.
