Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Sydney, NSW. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain
backend services and integrations that connect AI models with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and legacy platforms. Responsibilities include implementing high-quality, well-tested code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with consultants and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role involves optimizing system performance and reliability, contributing to solution architecture, and ensuring
security and compliance standards are met in all implementations. The Software Engineer will also help improve internal development practices, document technical designs, and support troubleshooting and continuous enhancement of deployed solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., C#, Python, Java, or TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database-driven applications.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns for building maintainable, scalable systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD and version control (Git).
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Copilot Studio) and interest in Ethical AI and enterprise AI solutions is highly beneficial.
