We’re building Véla — a Norwegian startup on a mission to redefine household services through technology.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for one additional Full Stack Developer to join our tech team and help us build the future of Véla.

You’ll work closely with our team and our existing developer, helping us scale both our web platform and upcoming mobile app.

What you’ll be working on

• Building and scaling our web platform
• Developing our future mobile app (iOS & Android)
• Creating new product features from idea to launch
• Improving our booking flow and customer experience
• Optimizing performance and scalability
• Helping shape the future technical architecture

We’re looking for someone who

• Has Full Stack experience
• Can build both web applications and mobile apps
• Enjoys fast-paced startup environments
• Takes ownership and likes solving problems
• Thinks like a product builder—not just a developer
• Wants to help build something from the ground up

We’re especially looking for someone who understands great user experience and enjoys building products that people genuinely love using.

Compensation

As we’re currently bootstrapping and working towards commercialization, this position is currently voluntary.

It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on startup experience, work on a real product, and build a strong portfolio while helping shape a company from an early stage.

For the right person, we’re happy to discuss future compensation, which may include equity, performance-based bonuses, or a long-term role as Véla continues to grow.
