About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team at the Haufe Group. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in scaling our innovative products to better serve over 450,000 small and micro-enterprises across Germany. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing new workflows and processes that simplify order management and improve overall user experience for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other developers, to challenge existing approaches and develop new, efficient solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to take end-to-end responsibility for key features, influence architectural decisions, and actively shape the future of our product ecosystem. You will be involved in discovery phases, development cycles, and deployment stages, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will play a vital role in integrating AI-driven workflows and automated processes, leveraging the latest technologies to foster growth and innovation within the organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background with several years of experience in building modern backend and frontend systems. Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is essential, complemented by hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and Material UI for frontend development. A solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, is required, along with experience in database design, optimization, and migration projects. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is necessary to ensure scalable and reliable solutions. Experience with AI-native engineering and integrating AI workflows into existing systems is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of bridging gaps between development, product management, UX, and other disciplines. Fluency in German (minimum C2 level) is mandatory, as effective communication within the team and with stakeholders is critical. Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle for key features, from conception through deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.

• Design and implement microservice architectures, ensuring seamless communication between services and maintaining system integrity.

• Participate in discovery phases, planning, and delivery cycles, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.
