CordyTraff is a growing SEO and digital marketing agency. We build websites, grow organic traffic, and develop tools that help our team work more efficiently.

We’re looking for a Junior / Junior+ Developer who uses AI coding tools every day and enjoys turning practical ideas into working solutions.

What you’ll work on

• Write scripts that automate repetitive tasks, process data, and connect tools.
• Build and improve website generators for creating and updating sites at scale.
• Update and maintain existing websites, including layouts, features, integrations, and bug fixes.
• Maintain and extend our internal technical dashboard.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual work.
• Support the team with technical requests, troubleshooting, and small tools that make everyday work easier.

How we work

AI is part of our daily development process. You should feel comfortable using tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to explore codebases, plan changes, write code, and debug issues.

We value the ability to give AI clear instructions, provide the right context, and check its output. Understanding what you deliver matters just as much as getting it done.

You’ll work across several projects, organise changes in GitHub, and keep tasks moving with clear priorities and regular communication.

What we’re looking for

• Practical experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub, including branches, commits, and pull requests.
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• The ability to understand existing code, make changes, and troubleshoot problems.
• Some experience writing scripts or building automations, whether for personal projects, freelance work, or a previous role.
• A basic understanding of APIs and how to connect different services.
• An organised approach to tasks and the initiative to ask questions when something is unclear.
• Enough English to work with documentation and communicate about technical tasks.

You don’t need to be an expert in every area. We’re looking for solid fundamentals, evidence that you build things, and a willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, Python, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with website generators, reusable templates, or bulk content workflows.
• Experience with dashboards, databases, or third-party integrations.
• Basic knowledge of deployment, hosting, and technical SEO.
