About The Opportunity

We are looking for a PHP Engineer with strong experience in building and maintaining scalable web applications, utilizing PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Skilled in designing application architectures, developing and integrating APIs, and ensuring code quality through best practices, code reviews, and adherence to development standards. Experienced in managing the full software lifecycle, including performance optimization, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical documentation. Adept at working both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments, with strong communication skills and a focus on delivering intuitive user experiences. Additional knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWA), Linux/Apache server administration, and Microsoft Azure cloud services further enhances the ability to support modern, scalable web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable web and mobile applications.
• Design and implement APIs, including managing integrations with external platforms.
• Uphold high standards for code quality by adhering to established design and coding standards.
• Actively participate in code review processes.
• Provide technical support and assistance to fellow developers during implementation.
• Manage application lifecycle, including performance optimization, bug fixes, and general maintenance.
• Create and update essential system and technical documentation as required.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal english communication skills
• Expertise in both core PHP and MySQL.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Solid grasp of web application architecture and design principles.
• Practical experience integrating and working with various APIs.
• Familiarity with source control systems, specifically GitHub.
• Appreciation for and understanding of strong User Interface (UI) design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment

Nice To Have Skills

• Exposure to or knowledge of Progressive Web App (PWA) development.
• Experience managing and configuring Linux servers (Apache).
• Some understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
