We're a newly founded healthcare solutions company based in Damascus, building enterprise software for the MENA region. Our MVP launches in 12 months. We're hiring our first core engineering team now.

The Role

We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Odoo Developer to building a scalable enterprise ERP system on Odoo 18 LTS. You'll be our first core developer — leading both backend (Python/Odoo) and frontend (OWL/interactive UI) work across the entire MVP.

What You'll Build

• Core data models and business logic (extend Odoo's core architecture)
• Five critical custom modules: document storage, digital signatures, approvals, resource scheduling, dashboards.
• A specialized interactive visualization component (SVG/canvas-based, real-time, linked to backend)
• Audit trails, role-based access control, compliance-ready schema.
• Self-hosted production environment structure.

The Challenge

This isn't standard Odoo config work. Five capabilities that are normally pre-built must be engineered custom. The interactive component is the hardest piece — it's where architecture and UX meet. You'll own the technical decisions.

What We Need

Someone who can lead and own their work end-to-end:

• Takes full ownership: autonomous control over technical decisions and execution — we don't micromanage
• System design & software architecture: design scalable data models, plan integrations, make architectural trade-offs
• Strong technical writer: write RFCs, ADRs, architecture docs; lead design discussions with the team; explain the "why" not just the "what"
• 5+ years Odoo development (v13+)
• Python: data models, business logic, API design
• Frontend: OWL, JavaScript, XML/QWeb, CSS
• PostgreSQL, Git, ability to read source code
• Nice to have: SVG/canvas experience, regulated industry background, OCA module contribution

What We Offer

• Full 12-month contract (Month 1–12, with Year 2 extension possible)
• Fully remote (outside Damascus area; office option if based in Damascus)
• Monthly payment via SWIFT/PayPal/Wise
• Salary: Negotiable based on experience.

Timeline

• Months 1–3: Design core data model, start visualization POC.
• Months 4–8: Build five custom modules, finish interactive component.
• Months 9–12: UAT, production environment, documentation.
