For our client, we are seeking a Sr Software Engineer (US) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable web applications and APIs that support the business’s digital customer experiences. You will partner closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into technical solutions, while helping modernize legacy systems and improve overall application quality. The position also includes contributing to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices in a collaborative environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web applications and APIs
• Translate product requirements into technical designs and software solutions
• Enhance performance, reliability, maintainability, and usability of applications
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems
• Lead technical design discussions and participate in code reviews
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering
• Proficiency in building scalable web applications with React, Next.js, TypeScript, .NET, and SQL Server
• Experience across the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and debugging
• Knowledge of software architecture and system integration
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Design
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers
