We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Design, develop, and operate modern web applications across a SaaS portfolio, working across frontend, backend, and DevOps layers.
  • Integrate AI-native features and agentic experiences into products, using LLMs, retrieval, tool-use, and structured workflows to create value for healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering to elevate engineering and AI-engineering quality.
  • Stay close to users, understand healthcare workflows, and bring an entrepreneurial, outcome-driven mindset to feature development.

What You'll Need

  • Senior-level full-stack engineering experience with modern web applications, with deep knowledge in at least one frontend stack (React or Angular) and one backend stack (Java/Spring Boot or Python).
  • Completed university degree (Master's or PhD) in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Proficient in core technologies like React/Angular, Java Spring Boot, Python, C#, Kafka, Terraform, and Cloud/DevOps environments (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
  • Demonstrated effective use of AI in software engineering, including experience with LLM tools (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic SDK) and designing AI pipelines, harnesses, and context engineering.
  • Fluent in German and English, strong problem-solving skills, innovative, proactive, and excellent collaboration with product management.
