About the role

Our client is a product company in the corporate treasury and transaction banking space. Its platforms are deployed at some of the largest multinational and private banks in India and are used by large corporate treasuries for payments, receivables, liquidity and cash management across 55+ banks.

The engineering team is expanding and is hiring Full Stack Developers who can take a functional requirement, break it into technical tasks, build it in Java and Angular, and own it through testing and delivery. This is a hands-on role on live banking products, not a maintenance seat.

What you will do

• Translate functional requirements into clear, developable technical solutions
• Break user stories into technical tasks and identify dependencies, risks and edge cases
• Perform impact analysis before changing existing modules, APIs and databases
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable and efficient code
• Design for security, performance, scalability and backward compatibility
• Test thoroughly and resolve defects before delivery
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards and documentation
• Own assigned tasks and deliver within agreed timelines
• Flag technical risks, blockers and potential delays early
  

What you must bring

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Core and object oriented programming
• Hands-on experience with Angular
• Good understanding of REST APIs and application integration
• Strong knowledge of SQL, RDBMS and database concepts, with hands-on Hibernate or MyBatis
• Working experience with multithreading, design patterns and exception handling
• Knowledge of secure coding, API security, database performance and application performance tuning
• Strong debugging, problem solving and technical ownership
• Prior experience in banking or fintech products or platforms
• Currently based in Pune and available to join immediately

• Microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Git or SVN, and Maven or Gradle
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Camel, Kafka, Jasper, SAML, OAuth 2.0, JWT
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP
