Role Description This is a full-time, on-site
Web Developer role based in Brussels. The
Web Developer will design, build, and maintain
web applications that support Vibrations.fm’s digital media platform, ensuring responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences. Day-to-day, this role involves developing
front-end interfaces, implementing back-end logic and APIs, integrating third-party services, and collaborating with designers and product managers to refine requirements. The
Web Developer will write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, optimize for performance and
security, and help troubleshoot and resolve issues in production. The role also includes contributing to
technical documentation, improving development workflows, and staying current with modern
web standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Programming, with the ability to build and maintain APIs and server-side logic.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Web Development, including integration between front-end and back-end components.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git), build tools, and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly, and translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with media streaming platforms, audio-related web technologies, or similar digital products is a plus.
- Comfort working on-site in Brussels and communicating in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
