About The Role
As a Web Developer, you will build, enhance, and maintain websites and web applications using modern development practices. You will work with C#, ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core, MVC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while contributing to API integrations and the delivery of responsive web experiences.
This role involves working with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions. You will help improve application performance, security, and usability, and will participate in debugging, profiling, testing, and deployment activities. You should be comfortable taking responsibility for your work while seeking input and sharing knowledge with the team.
Qualifications
Candidates should have approximately three or more years of web development experience, or demonstrate equivalent capability through relevant professional work and projects. Strong practical skills in C#, MVC, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are required. You should understand MVC patterns, ASP.NET controllers, REST API design, JSON data, and common web security principles, including OWASP guidance.
Experience debugging, profiling, and deploying web applications is important, as is familiarity with IIS and the needs of applications running in a production environment. Exposure to a front-end framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or Knockout is an advantage. A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred, but relevant experience and demonstrated technical ability are also valued.
