About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Softwareentwickler Fullstack (m/w/d) to join our dynamic Information Technology Operations team at Wieland-Werke AG in Ulm. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our custom-developed Manufacturing Execution System (MES), contributing to its ongoing development and refinement within an agile environment. Your work will directly support our digital transformation initiatives and international rollouts, providing an exciting opportunity to influence key projects in a global context. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in both backend and frontend software development, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, complemented by professional experience in software development. Proficiency in Java and HTML5/JavaScript is essential, along with solid knowledge of modern development frameworks, databases, and system integration techniques. Familiarity with interfaces such as SAP S/4HANA or shopfloor equipment is highly desirable. Soft skills such as excellent teamwork, communication, and a proactive mindset are crucial for success in this role. Additionally, good command of English, both written and spoken, will enable effective collaboration within our international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance our proprietary Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring its continuous improvement and agile evolution.
• Participate actively in diverse digitalization projects and international system rollouts, taking high levels of responsibility for project success.
• Implement and maintain backend and frontend components, ensuring robust functionality and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate systems with third-party solutions such as SAP S/4HANA and shopfloor equipment, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business consultants and technical specialists, to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, and documentation to uphold our standards of excellence.
