About The Role

We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our system accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with security standards, and enhancing our technological capabilities. This position involves developing innovative applications aimed at improving user interfaces, automating processes, and managing data effectively. The Full Stack Software Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers, to design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions that meet both technical and client requirements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant professional experience, including:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages including Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience designing and interacting with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Experience creating comprehensive technical documentation to support system accreditation and security compliance.
• Knowledge of core architectural and design patterns, including MVC, RESTful API design, Singleton, Factory, and Observer patterns.
  
  

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, security certifications such as CISSP, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Full Stack Software Engineer encompass but are not limited to:

• Developing applications aimed at enhancing user interfaces, facilitating operator tasks, and increasing operational efficiency.
• Identifying opportunities where technology can automate processes and improve data management.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, and deployment of secure software solutions.
• Designing, prototyping, and implementing web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, and CSS.
• Utilizing Python and frameworks like Django to develop accessible and user-friendly applications.
• Collaborating with Data Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers to troubleshoot and optimize user interface capabilities.
• Engaging with customers to gather requirements, enhance user experience, and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation to support security standards and system accreditation processes.
