Full Stack Engineer

OwlifyAI is looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in the MERN stack to build and deliver AI-powered products, web applications, and client projects.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a product from idea → development → deployment → maintenance and work independently to turn requirements into production-ready applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build modern, responsive, and scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, API integrations, and application security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI/LLM services into web applications.
• Build AI-powered features and workflows for OwlifyAI products and client projects.
• Deploy applications and manage production environments.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing applications.
• Work independently on product development and make appropriate technical decisions.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and convert ideas into functional products.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong experience with the MERN stack:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Good understanding of React components, hooks, state management, and frontend architecture.
• Strong understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of MongoDB, database design, queries, and data modelling.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization.
• Strong understanding of Git and GitHub.
• Experience deploying web applications to production.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and make technical decisions.
