Carseer is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team in Amman.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable software solutions. This position will work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality applications, contribute to architectural decisions, and support the continuous improvement of our technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs.
• Develop clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Work with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Angular to build and enhance applications.
• Design and implement software solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to software architecture, design patterns, and technical decisions.
• Lead the development of new features and contribute to improving existing systems.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to other developers.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level software engineers.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents.
• Support software release and deployment processes.
• Contribute to improving development standards, processes, performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Strong experience with Angular and modern web development.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and deliver solutions independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
