About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Software Engineer with clearance to join our team within Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Cyber & Intelligence division. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining full-stack software solutions supporting the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) Technical Task Order (TTO). You will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end serverless architectures leveraging the AWS ecosystem, providing innovative and scalable solutions for cyber threat intelligence, malware analysis, and data transformation.

This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers to deliver impactful software products that meet evolving mission needs. You will be responsible for integrating multi-source data, implementing caching services, and ensuring secure, robust full-stack applications that align with customer objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience (substitution of four years additional SWE experience for degree is acceptable)
• Minimum 20 years of software engineering experience, including significant experience with programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript development
• Experience with Python programming
• Familiarity working in Agile software development environments
• Knowledge of designing and implementing caching services for web applications
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and AWS CodePipeline
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation
• Strong understanding of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS
• Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
• Desired skills include PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Angular or Vue frameworks
• Experience delivering full-stack solutions utilizing AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Step Functions, DynamoDB, and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of corporate authentication services integration for secure applications
• Experience with multi-source data integration and artifact state management

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack Java software applications supporting cyber infrastructure solutions
• Engineer serverless architectures using AWS cloud services to meet customer mission objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions
• Implement caching strategies to optimize web application performance
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project workflows and deliver incremental improvements
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices
• Integrate authentication services to ensure secure access to applications
• Manage multi-source data integration and packaging to support data transformation and analysis
• Maintain documentation and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers as needed
