Job Title: Web Developer

Duration: Open-ended

Workload: Full time hours

Setup: Freelance (Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)

Location: 100% Remote (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania)

We are supporting a client in the mining sector seeking experienced Web Developers to build and maintain modern, scalable websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver user-focused solutions
• Optimise website performance, scalability, and security
• Integrate APIs and third-party services where required
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing platforms
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)
• Back-end development experience (e.g. Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrations
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Understanding of web performance optimisation and security principles
  
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working on industrial or mining-related digital platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Drupal)
• Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
