We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Product & Engineering team of a fast-growing AI-powered social platform focused on helping people connect and do more things together in real life.

This is an ownership-heavy role. You won't simply receive tickets and write code. You'll take responsibility for features from scope and technical planning through build, launch, measurement and ongoing iteration.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and ship features across a Node.js + TypeScript backend, React / Next.js web application and Flutter mobile apps.

• Understand the purpose and intended user behaviour behind every feature you build.

• Work closely with product and design throughout the development process.

• Write technical implementation, product implementation and tracking plans.

• Solve real-world engineering challenges including real-time availability, high-demand bookings, location-aware functionality, and invite and trust systems.

• Ship features behind feature flags and holdout groups to measure their impact.

• Track technical outcomes including uptime, success/error rates and latency.

• Track product outcomes including retention, engagement and user behaviour.

• Own features after launch, monitor their performance and continuously improve them.

• Identify when features aren't meeting their targets and develop improvement plans.

• Support teammates and act as a backup owner for other features.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software, with genuine ownership of features after launch.

• Strong Node.js and TypeScript backend experience.

• Strong PostgreSQL and Redis experience.

• Production experience with React or Next.js.

• Experience shipping mobile applications — Flutter strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of data integrity, including transactions, locking, race conditions and consistency under load.

• Experience with real-time systems such as WebSockets, SSE or pub/sub.

• Experience instrumenting features and using data — including funnels, experiments, A/B tests or holdouts — to inform product decisions.

• Strong written communication and the ability to create clear technical plans.

Nice to have:

• Experience with consumer social, marketplace or booking products.

• Experience with viral or invite-driven growth.

• Maps and location-based features.

• Product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or AppsFlyer.

• Experience with data warehouses.

• Experience building with LLMs or AI agents in production.

WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE

Someone who thinks like an owner, cares about the people using the product and would rather move one important metric meaningfully than ship ten features nobody measures.

You'll have genuine ownership of your work: planning features, building them, measuring their performance and helping decide how they evolve.

The role also includes an annual bonus in cash and stock, linked to the impact and performance of the features you own.

HIRING PROCESS

1. Application

2. One-to-one conversation

3. 48-hour take-home assessment

4. Follow-up technical interview

5. Final conversation and offer

  • We're looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
