About The Role

In this role, you'll own both ends of the stack, building React interfaces backed by FastAPI services for products that support energy infrastructure clients. You'll shape CI/CD pipelines and containerized delivery on Kubernetes, working closely with architects and product teams to ship reliable, data-driven applications end to end, from the first line of code to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services in Python (FastAPI) alongside React-based frontend applications, delivering full end-to-end features
• Process, transform, and analyze data using Pandas to support reporting and decision-making
• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily in Azure DevOps, to automate testing and deployment across environments
• Develop and maintain structured Helm Charts for standardized, configurable application deployments, including versioning and documentation
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift), improving deployment consistency and scalability
• Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into working, production-ready solutions
• Take part in Agile ceremonies to plan, estimate, and deliver work iteratively
• Review code and share backend, frontend, and DevOps best practices with the team
• Optimize application performance across frontend and backend layers to deliver a smooth, responsive user experience
• Troubleshoot issues across the stack, from UI to infrastructure, to keep releases stable and on schedule
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python, including 3+ years working with FastAPI
• 4+ years of frontend development experience building applications with React
• 1+ year of experience using Pandas or a comparable Python library for data processing and analysis
• 2+ years designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps
• Proven experience containerizing and orchestrating services with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally OpenShift
• Practical experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating them with modern frontend applications
• Strong problem-solving skills across the full application stack, from UI to infrastructure
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional and client teams
• Experience with transmission system operators or comparable energy infrastructure companies
• Experience with Airflow and/or Splunk
