BioCurie is a TechBio startup building software that provides AI-driven solutions to address bottlenecks in genomic medicine manufacturing. These advanced therapies are challenging and costly to manufacture, creating industry-wide barriers. Our platform empowers biopharmaceutical companies and manufacturers to optimize genomic medicine production – improving time, quality, cost, and patient access.

About the Role

We are seeking a fullstack software engineer to join a fast-moving team and get hands-on across the stack. Daily tasks will focus on building product features end-to-end, from intuitive UIs to reliable backend services, and iterating quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain backend services.
• Design and implement UIs for workflows and scientific computing, with reusable components for uploads, configuration panels, and visual summaries.
• Help define engineering practices across the stack (reviews, testing, documentation) and work with other engineers to turn complex requirements into user-friendly software.



Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• 3+ years building product-grade web applications.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience working with a relational database and with designing database schemas for data analytics.
• Strong frontend fundamentals with experience building data-heavy UIs (tables, filtering, dashboards, charts).
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows .
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Background in scientific computing or biopharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus.
