Seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative, product-focused engineering team. This is a hands-on development role for an engineer who enjoys building scalable, customer-facing software and working across both front-end and back-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user-facing features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Develop server-side applications and services using Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations between front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop cloud-native applications.
• Build and maintain highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Ensure application performance, security and scalability across the full stack.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications and systems.
• Work closely with Product, Design and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Support and mentor more junior engineers.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and approaches that improve engineering delivery.

Technical Requirements:

Core

• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
• Hands-on Node.js back-end development experience.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of full-stack application architecture.

Cloud & Architecture

• Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture and services.
• Experience working with distributed systems, including concepts such as:
• Load balancing
• Replication
• Fault tolerance
• Horizontal scaling

Data & Engineering

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Firestore.
• Strong Git/version-control experience.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
