Skills You Should Have

• 6+ years of experience in software development, building and shipping full-stack products that real people use
• A product mindset. You start with the problem, not the solution, and you measure your work by whether it helped someone, not by whether it compiled.
• Comfort working directly with stakeholders and customers (members, Health Coaches, clinicians and internal teams) to unpack what they actually need before you build
• A self-starter who takes ambiguous problems from idea to production without waiting to be told what to do next, and keeps owning the outcome after launch
• Highly collaborative, working closely with product, design, QA and clinical teammates, with clear written and spoken English
• Strong UX instincts. You notice when a flow is confusing and you care about the details that make a product easy to use.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and the JavaScript ecosystem, with strong experience in React and modern web application development. Comfortable working across the stack, from user interfaces through APIs, services, data models and databases.
• Experience building, shipping and operating services in cloud environments, including automated testing, CI/CD and release pipelines
• Ability to design pragmatic system architectures, APIs and data models, make sound technical trade-offs, and evolve existing systems without unnecessary complexity.
• Hands-on experience steering AI coding agents (Claude Code or similar) to build, test, deploy and maintain systems, with the judgment to review and own what they produce
• Experience building agentic workflows, tools or automations that make a whole team faster, in development and in technical operations.
• Generative AI integration (OpenAI / Vertex API, RAG, prompt and context engineering, agentic)
• Understanding of security and privacy in building and operating services that handle sensitive health data
• Helps other engineers grow through code review, technical discussion and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have

• Mobile app experience, ideally React Native (Expo EAS a plus)
• Experience on a small or early-stage team where engineers help make product decisions
• Familiarity with Nest.js, Google Cloud and Firebase
• Experience with MCP servers, agent skills and hooks, or CI pipelines that run agents
• Healthcare, HIPAA or other regulated-industry experience
• Contributions to open source or experience building internal developer tooling

This is a remote role based in Greece, and you'll join existing team members in the Athens and Chania areas. We're remote-first, and we value time together in person when it makes the work better. Meeting up to whiteboard a problem, work side by side for a day, or just grab lunch or coffee together is something we encourage.
