For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - Node to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.
This role will focus on building and supporting high-volume web applications that power critical business operations. The engineer will work across the full development lifecycle, partnering closely with technical and management stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing software. In addition to hands-on development, this position includes code review, troubleshooting, mentorship, and participation in on-call support.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using Node, React, Redis, MS SQL, ElasticSearch, and AWS
- Maintain and support existing applications
- Ensure software quality through optimization and preservation efforts
- Innovate to enhance software features, processes, and technology
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs as they occur
- Conduct thorough and constructive code reviews
- Collaborate within the team to complete tasks while mentoring junior engineers
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency support
- Communicate effectively with technical and management teams
- Analyze and improve the performance of high-volume web applications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrable business impact
- Proficient in coding with NodeJs, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Skilled in frameworks like Angular and React
- Experienced with source control systems, particularly GitHub
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
