Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Frontend Developer (Web & Mobile) role based in St Kilda, VIC, with flexibility and work-from-home arrangements two days per week.


You'll work across a variety of client projects, building modern web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and Ember.js. Working closely with our designers and back-end developers, you'll translate polished UX/UI designs into clean, maintainable, and performant interfaces while integrating APIs and delivering high-quality user experiences.


You'll contribute to technical discussions, improve existing applications, review code, troubleshoot UI issues, and help shape architecture and frontend best practices across multiple products. You'll also participate in agile development, collaborate directly with clients, and explore new technologies that improve the way we build software.


Full-stack experience with Python/Django is a major advantage.


Qualifications
  • Strong commercial experience with React for modern web application development.
  • Experience building mobile applications using React Native
  • Experience with Ember.js, or the ability to quickly become productive in an existing Ember codebase
  • Excellent JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript skills
  • Strong HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge, including responsive layouts, Flexbox, Grid, animations, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working alongside backend developers
  • A strong eye for detail and the ability to accurately implement UX/UI designs
  • Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and modern development workflows
  • Comfortable working in an agile, collaborative environment with designers, developers, and clients
  • Experience with Python/Django is a major advantage, particularly for developers interested in working across the full stack
  • Experience working on healthcare, enterprise, or other complex digital products is highly regarded.
