About The Role

Genesis10 is excited to offer an immersive Software Developer training program designed for motivated individuals seeking to launch or advance their careers in software development. This role is ideal for those with foundational technical skills or professional experience who are eager to upskill and gain real-world project experience. The program provides comprehensive training in modern programming languages and frameworks, including Java, Spring, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and more. Participants will undergo a structured curriculum, including hands-on projects, mentorship from senior engineers, and direct exposure to client environments. Upon successful completion, candidates will be equipped with the technical expertise and practical experience necessary to excel in software development roles across various industries. This position offers an excellent pathway for individuals passionate about learning, technology, and problem-solving, and who are willing to relocate anywhere within the United States to pursue their career aspirations.

Qualifications

To be considered for this program, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Willingness to relocate anywhere within the continental United States.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship support (Dev10 cannot assist with OPT, CPT, EAD, H-1B, or TN visas, except for Asylees, Refugees, and TPS holders).
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines, or at least 12 months of professional work experience in relevant industries.
• Minimum of 6 months of programming experience demonstrated through coursework, projects, or employment, with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, R, SQL, MATLAB, Mathematica, TypeScript, Shell scripting, Go, or Kotlin.
• Strong interest in software development, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
  
  

Responsibilities

Participants in this program will be responsible for engaging in comprehensive training designed to develop core technical skills and practical experience. Specific responsibilities include:

• Participating actively in immersive training sessions focused on programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
• Completing hands-on projects that simulate real-world client scenarios to build practical experience.
• Collaborating with peers and mentors to solve complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Learning and applying best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and deployment.
• Engaging with senior engineers and industry professionals to gain insights into current industry standards and trends.
