An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence space is looking for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will join a scrum team to develop next-generation mission planning systems using a microservices architecture and modern web technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the design, development, test, and maintenance of mission-critical software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
• Assisting the Product Owner to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs.
• Developing, enhancing, and optimizing software products and functionalities for complex systems integrations.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and debugging software to ensure the reliability and efficiency of products.
• Developing and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, and interfaces for software products.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of software development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and C# or C++.
• Proven experience with the development and use of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and version control tools like Git.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance and legally authorized to work in the United States.
