Role Description This is a full-time, remote Software Engineer role. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software systems that power Cadfai’s AI-driven CAD automation platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing backend services and APIs, writing clean and scalable code, integrating AI models and CAD tools, and participating in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional team members on feature design, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-ready applications.
  • Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design modular, maintainable systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
  • Interest in AI, CAD, or manufacturing technologies is a plus.
