Role Description

This is a full-time remote Software Engineer role. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and applications that support rural supply and logistics operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring system reliability and performance. The role involves collaborating with product owners, other engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, participating in code reviews, and contributing to documentation. The Software Engineer will also help improve development processes, monitor production systems, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong foundations in Computer Science and Software Development.
  • Candidates should possess practical experience in Back-End Web Development and Programming.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design principles.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) and common development tools (version control, issue tracking).
  • Candidates should possess the ability to write clean, maintainable code, perform debugging, and work with databases and APIs.
  • Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.


Compensation Hourly Range

$65.00 – $80.00 per hour
