About the Role
XylonTech is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to design, build, maintain, and enhance web-based applications for client-facing projects.
This role spans both frontend and backend development, with exposure to Azure DevOps workflows and collaboration across engineering, delivery, and client stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the technical foundation of the growing U.S. team while contributing to real-world client solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable web-based software applications
- Build and enhance frontend features using React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related technologies
- Support backend development and integration work using .NET, SQL, APIs, and similar technologies
- Contribute to Azure DevOps workflows, including repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, delivery, leadership, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and debugging efforts
- Understand client API environments and identify opportunities for technical improvement
- Contribute to code quality, performance, maintainability, and documentation
- Support distributed team collaboration and help evolve development best practices
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- 4–6 years of software development experience preferred, with flexibility for strong candidates demonstrating solid fundamentals and growth potential
- Strong experience with React, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including repositories, CI/CD pipelines, release pipelines, and deployment workflows
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as .NET, C#, SQL, APIs, or similar environments
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across engineering, delivery, UX, and leadership
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
- Ownership mindset, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
- Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field preferred)
- Current authorization to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have
- Experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, API integrations, or database-driven applications
- Experience with Azure cloud, DevOps tooling, deployments, or release management
- Experience in GovCon, ESG, climate-focused, built environment, or digital transformation projects
- Background in custom software development, product engineering, consulting, or client project environments
- UX-aware engineering mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with design and delivery teams
- Interest in growing into expanded technical or leadership responsibility as the U.S. team scales
