Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software for nuclear systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop software for reactor control, monitoring systems, class="bg-amber-100">data acquisition, simulation, and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nuclear engineers, electrical engineers, and safety specialists.
• Apply best practices for software reliability, maintainability, and cybersecurity.
• Participate in code reviews, class="bg-amber-100">testing, and verification processes aligned with industry standards (e.g., NQA-1, IEC 61513).
• Document software design, architecture, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in mission-critical environments.
• Stay updated on emerging software technologies and nuclear industry trends.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in class="bg-amber-100">Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong class="bg-amber-100">programming skills in languages such as C/class="bg-amber-100">C++, class="bg-amber-100">Python, class="bg-amber-100">Java, or Rust.
• Experience developing software for safety-critical or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle, version control, and class="bg-amber-100">testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of software quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, NQA-1) or cybersecurity standards for critical class="bg-amber-100">infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team setting across time zones.
• Salary Range: €50,000–€60,000, based on experience and previous work history.
