A fast-moving international trading business, specialising in B2B luxury fashion distribution, is seeking a talented developer. This highly profitable company partners with global brands, treating in-house development as a strategic function at the heart of its operations.

The Role

• Design, build and maintain backend-heavy features for internal systems supporting operations, reporting, analytics, and a B2B portal
• Collaborate with the Head of Development on solution design, architecture, and technical direction
• Write clean, testable, SOLID-compliant PHP using Symfony, incorporating strong unit and functional tests
• Contribute to shared standards, code reviews, CI, and deployment practices, including the use of AI tools
• Work with business users to understand requirements, refine ideas, and deliver pragmatic solutions
• Help evolve the platform and infrastructure, utilising technologies such as PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Vue.js, AWS, and Docker
  
  

What You'll Need

• Strong commercial experience with PHP in modern frameworks like Symfony or Laravel in a business-critical environment
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID principles for maintainable systems
• Proven experience building and testing API-driven backend systems with unit and functional tests
• Comfort working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React in a full stack workflow
• Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team, taking ownership and communicating clearly
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Dockerised applications, AWS hosted environments, or AI tools is a plus
