About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with extensive experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly in .NET development, to join our talented team. As a Senior Developer at GrabJobs, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions tailored to our federal clients' needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in modernizing legacy systems, guiding migration strategies to cloud platforms, and creating cloud-native applications that enhance operational efficiency. This position requires a proactive, collaborative individual capable of working in an Agile environment, supporting cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, cloud technologies, and federal compliance standards, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET development, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience (at least 12 years) will be considered. Certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional and/or Azure Certification is highly desirable. Candidates should have extensive experience refactoring and migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core, including ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core. Additionally, a strong background in building RESTful services and WCF, along with proficiency in JavaScript and Angular (version 16 or higher), is required. Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core, Azure Cloud services, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential. Familiarity with Scrum Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills are also necessary. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the U.S., with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer at GrabJobs, your responsibilities will include working cross-functionally within an Agile team to develop and deploy cloud-native applications utilizing .NET 10, Angular 20+, and Azure services, with a focus on Web API and Entity Framework Core. You will collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to support emerging client needs, ensuring alignment with enterprise security, governance, and accessibility standards. Your role involves modernizing legacy applications through refactoring and migration efforts, designing scalable cloud solutions, and maintaining existing systems for optimal performance. You will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous integration and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Git. Flexibility, independence, and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you may need to juggle multiple tasks and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, project coordination, or training, but it is expected to be less than 10%.
