Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development, operation, and continuous improvement of our existing and upcoming software services. The role involves developing web and mobile-based applications, implementing new features, designing APIs and databases, maintaining existing systems, and improving overall service performance, stability, security, and usability.

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications and internal software services.
• Build and improve frontend and backend features using modern web technologies.
• Design, develop, and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify technical issues and independently propose and implement practical solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Use AI-powered development tools and automation technologies to improve development productivity.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and actively communicate development progress with team members.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in web, mobile, or software development.
• Strong understanding of frontend, backend, API, and database development.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern web development frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Ability to independently analyze technical problems, design solutions, and complete development tasks with minimal supervision.
• Practical experience with Git-based development workflows, code reviews, and team collaboration.
• Understanding of software architecture, maintainable code practices, testing, and production deployment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote working environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing product and business requirements in a startup environment.
• Korean language proficiency is not required at the time of application; however, candidates must be willing to continuously learn and improve their Korean language skills during employment.
• Ability to work during the designated working hours aligned with the Korea-based team.
