About The Role

We are seeking multiple experienced Full-Stack Engineers to join our dynamic team within BNY Wealth Services Platform. These roles are based in New York City, Pittsburgh, PA, and Lake Mary, FL. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable financial applications that meet critical business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, operations, and security, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will help streamline our development processes through automation and modern engineering practices, contributing directly to the technological growth of our platform. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in full-stack software development. Experience in the finance domain is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate extensive hands-on proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Flutter, and Dart, as well as back-end technologies including Java, Spring Framework, Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL. A strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and the software development lifecycle is essential. Additionally, familiarity with AI agentic process engineering and skills is highly desirable. The candidate must have a proven track record of contributing directly to code, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering production-ready software in fast-paced environments. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are vital, along with the ability to thrive in an agile setting with a strong sense of ownership and execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on full-stack developer, responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying applications aligned with business requirements.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code across both front-end and back-end components, actively contributing to core project deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product management, operations, and security to develop practical solutions that meet business objectives.
• Lead by example through technical excellence, driving best practices in coding, testing, debugging, and deployment to ensure high standards of software quality.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize the software development lifecycle through automation, modern engineering practices, and innovative tooling.
• Participate actively in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging efforts, helping to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy, applying a pragmatic, builder-focused mindset grounded in hands-on development experience.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure applications adhere to security, compliance, performance, and reliability standards.
• Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders while remaining deeply involved in technical execution.

The base salary for this role ranges from $136,500 to $220,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
