  • Collaborate with backend and sensor engineers to create intuitive interfaces for complex automated systems.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and component libraries.
  • Translate user and product requirements into well-structured, testable UI features.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and end-to-end testing.
  • Use tools such as Git, GitHub, Figma, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines to support development workflows.
  • Help improve usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency across the platform.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, preferably React.
  • Familiarity with responsive design, web accessibility, and component-based UI architecture.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, and web application state management.
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of user experience best practices.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or a related technical or design field.

Degrees in Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, or Web Development will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with Mapbox, geospatial interfaces, or real-time data visualization.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, or other component libraries.
  • Knowledge of WebSockets, publish-subscribe architectures such as Kafka, or real-time streaming data.
  • Familiarity with Figma, design tokens, and UI/UX workflows.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other DevOps tools.
