Full Stack Developer (.NET / Python)

Up to £60,000 + 10% Bonus

Hybrid (1 Day per Week in Birmingham Office)


We're partnered with an award-winning technology business that has built a market-leading platform used by some of the UK's largest automotive organisations. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their engineering team and help further develop their intelligent logistics and route-planning platform.

This is a unique opportunity to work on software that combines modern web development with optimisation algorithms, machine learning, and large-scale data processing.


The Role

You'll spend most of your time developing and enhancing a platform built with C#, .NET and Angular, while also contributing to sophisticated Python-based route optimisation and logistics systems.

Working within a highly technical engineering team, you'll be involved in building new functionality, improving existing products, and helping solve complex real-world problems through software, mathematics, and data.


Essential Requirements

  • Commercial experience with C# and .NET
  • Experience developing front-end applications using Angular (or strong React experience)
  • Commercial experience with Python
  • Strong mathematical, statistical, or quantitative background
  • Excellent software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, testing, debugging, and clean code principles
  • Experience working on production systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges


Nice to Have

  • Entity Framework Core
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational database experience
  • AWS or other cloud technologies
  • Linux environments
  • Machine learning, optimisation, or algorithm development experience
  • Experience with NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar Python libraries
  • Logistics, route planning, or operational research experience


Package

  • Up to £60,000 base salary
  • Up to 10% bonus
  • Hybrid working with 1 day per week in the Birmingham office
